Festive concert at the Cuvilliés Theater
In one of the nicest and most important rococo theatres of Europe, where Mozart
directed the premiere of his opera "Idomeneo" and where in 1806 Napoleon was present as a guest to a performance of Don Giovanni, you can experience concerts with the famous residence Soloists. The ensemble, consisting of the residence soloists and members of the Munich philharmonic
orchestra and the symphony orchestra of the Bayerischen Rundfunk company, play
well-chosen masterpieces of the classical period.

The residence soloists play a springlike vivacious program together with Michael Kofler, solo flautist of the Munich Philharmonic.
The cheerful 1st symphony of a young Beethoven was one of Pope Pius XII's favorite works, and he even wished it at his funeral.
The highly virtuoso flute concerto by Vivaldi and Mozart's melodic and imaginative flute concerto are on the program with the exceptional flutist Michael Kofler.
The overture by Rossini and the “spring voices” waltz, which is one of the highlights of every opera ball, are really lively.
