Marcelino Rojas

Marcelino Rojas

Marcelino Rojas Rodriguez (born 1998 in Munich) is one of the most versatile violinists of his generation.

He began playing the violin at the age of eight and was accepted as a junior student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich in the class of Professor Olga Bloch Voitova. His musical training then led him to his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, where he received crucial artistic inspiration from influential figures such as Professor Christoph Poppen, Professor Lena Neudauer, and Professor Julia Fischer. He completed his Master's degree in the artistic profile in the summer of 2023 with top honors.

Chamber music holds particular significance for him: He has gained valuable experience through collaborations with, among others, Raphael Merlin, Konstantia Gourzi, Silke Avenhaus, Elisabeth Kufferath, and Friedemann Berger.

Since 2023, Marcelino Rojas Rodriguez has been a scholarship recipient of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Munich, and since 2025 he has been a permanent ensemble member of the Residenz Solisten.
