Festive concert
As nature awakens to new life, this carefully curated concert perfectly captures the pure energy, lightness, and blossoming of spring at Easter.
The festive and deeply moving opening features the sublime Adagio from Johann Sebastian Bach’s *Easter Oratorio*, creating an atmosphere of light and Easter renewal. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s sparkling overture to *The Magic Flute* transports the listener to a magical world of sound, before Antonio Vivaldi’s famous "Spring" from *The Four Seasons* brings the awakening of nature—with its cheerful birdsong and gentle spring breezes—vividly to life.
The bright, dance-like elegance of Mozart’s Flute Concerto in D Major and the delightful interplay between the two woodwinds in Domenico Cimarosa’s Concerto for Flute and Oboe provide brilliant solo highlights. The spirited and exuberant climax of this festive Easter program is Johann Strauss’s famous *Voices of Spring* waltz, which enchants the audience with its orchestral brilliance.
