Festive concert in the All-Saints Court chapel of the Residence with candlelight

To mark season's opening, the Residence Soloists invite you to a gala concert in the historic ambience of the All Saints Court Church in the Residence. Sounding horns, swift horses, and rustling autumn leaves – embodied in numerous masterpieces of classical music. This virtuoso concert will feature a selection of these works.

A highlight of the evening will be Joseph Haydn's famous Symphony "La Chasse," which transports the audience to the hunting ritual of the 1780s. The four movements contrast the sophisticated courtly lifestyle with the fiery Hungarian lifestyle of his employer, Prince Esterházy, in the hunting motif. In contrast, Mozart's Symphony in A major radiates a youthful freshness. It is considered the most beautiful and cheerful of Mozart's symphonies.
